Wednesday, April 9 (6:00 p.m.):  Autism Is Treatable – Overview of the biomedical approach.  Risk factors, initial assessment, laboratory tests, dietary interventions, nutritional supplements, gastrointestinal problems, heavy metals and other toxins, and chelation will be discussed.

 

Wednesday, April 16 (6:00 p.m.):  Autism is Medical – Children with Autism frequently have underlying medical problems. They are especially likely to suffer from gastrointestinal problems and chronic viral and bacterial infections. In this presentation you will learn about the most frequent viral, bacterial, and fungal infections in children diagnosed with autism. Also discussed will be the role of allergies, asthma, and medication-induced nutritional deficiencies.

 

Wednesday, April 23 (6:00 p.m.):  Environmental Toxins and Your Child – Learn about the most prevalent toxins in the Tri-state & their impact on your child.  Find out how to minimize toxins from air, water, food, mold, & household chemicals, and how to recover from exposures. This presentation will include a discussion of the vaccine-autism connection. Has the question been answered?

 

Wednesday, April 30 (6:00 p.m.):  Testing, Labs, and Data-Driven Interventions – The most effective interventions are those that are informed by laboratory tests. Learn about the most frequently ordered labs, what they mean, why they are necessary, and how the results translate to effective interventions. Special diets, nutritional supplements, and prescription medications will be discussed.
